Description
24 action cards to challenge your students to improve their relationship skills. Each card is individually focused with the task, examples, relatable image and the relation skill attributes it covers. This is a resource designed to ensure students are developing the positive and conscious relationships skills that are essential for educators and children who are learning to take agency and ownership for their learning.

Versatile Usage:

Daily Challenge – Each child chooses a card at random at the beginning of the day and keeps it a secret. They carry out the action on the card as much as they can over the
day. At the end of the day students can share what their card was and how they did, or as a class you can try and guess which one they had, as hopefully others would have noticed their actions. - Targeting Individuals – As above but instead of students choosing a card at random the teacher can allocate cards based on relationship needs.
- Whole Class Focus – If you have a general whole class need for improving relationship skills then simply choose 1 action card that targets this and have your whole class carry it out. This also works well if it is an action that can impact beyond the classroom, a s a wider positive impact can be experienced by the students.
- Discussion– Be sure to discuss with your class how they felt carrying out the actions a n d how they felt when a n action was carried out towards them. Sharing these impacts will help to ensure a higher impact of using this resource.
- More than 24 students? – No problem, many of the cards work well with multiple students actioning it at the same time so simply print several sets.
